SparxIT’s project management was generally effective, with several key deliverables completed on time. However, some items were delivered later than scheduled, and one final deliverable the complete source code still remains outstanding.

To fully comprehend our particular needs, there were lengthy talks required, and they indeed listed patiently. The key deliverables were personalized goal-setting and progress-monitoring features, in-app chat, video conference capabilities, and a resource library. 

To revolutionize client-health coach communication and provide useful fitness materials to users, SparxIT was successful in delivering a functional app. This increased user engagement and satisfaction.

Many measurable outcomes demonstrate the project's success. At first, there was a 30% increase in platform users which was a clear sign of increased user engagement. The app's success in assisting users in accomplishing their wellness goals may be seen in the 25% increase in client retention. 

Last but not least, by reducing response times between coaches and clients by 20%, efficient communication tools improved the overall client experience.

We had a website, but many of our customers use mobile devices now. We needed to develop our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SparxIT has developed our mobile application using Flutter. Initially, we explained what we wanted and gave them photos. The team has developed everything from scratch.  They’ve also worked on wireframing and the UX/UI design to make the experience user-friendly for our customers.

The app is for iOS and Android; it’ll provide details, explain our travel packages, and give our customers options for inquiries. SparxIT has added a chat option, and we’ve talked about adding a checkout feature in the future.

Project management has been great. We give them feedback, and they implement it. We use Skype calls and in-person visits to keep in touch and have weekly meetings to share the project status.

I’m a product manager for a wellness company. We provide wellness courses, and users can visit our integrated e-commerce portal to purchase wellness-related products and training services.

We experienced significant product issues while working on our website with another service provider. Our original development partner failed to meet our expectations and lacked internal development support, so we contacted SparxIT to help us identify qualified developers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SparxIT supplied us with short-term offshore development resources to help us build a mobile application. First, we met with SparxIT to share our required skill sets, including Kotlin and Swift development expertise. Then, they pre-screened candidates and sent us resumes for qualified developers, which we interviewed. 

Once we finalized the team, we deployed the developers to the project, and they worked alongside our team to develop an Android application. The application is a video conferencing portal where users can engage in group wellness activities with friends and family. 

After launching the Android application, the SparxIT team continued making changes and updating the functionality. Then, they helped us develop the iOS version.

SparxIT developed the mobile application according to our requirements, and we’re very pleased with the quality of their work. We’ve received a good amount of downloads for the Android version of the app, which launched first.

How did SparxIT perform from a project management standpoint?

Our team primarily handled the project management piece. Our project manager regularly interacted with the SparxIT developers to ensure they completed the necessary tasks. 

The developers consistently submitted work on time, and the senior team members were very responsive when we faced issues or requested clarification. They actually delivered the final report one month ahead of schedule, which was great. We used Skype and WhatsApp to communicate and Trello to keep track of the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

SparxIT provided us with qualified developers who took a comprehensive approach to our project. We were particularly impressed with their detailed reports; they took the time to outline each task thoroughly. They were also very affordable for the quality of service and timeliness they offered. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

SparxIT was reluctant to share important documentation via WhatsApp. Aside from that, I have nothing they could improve on.

I advise building a wireframe or prototype before engaging SparxIT because it will help them understand your requirements and make for a quicker development process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SparxIT has developed our e-commerce site. Initially, they provided us with a prototype that took them about 5–6 days to complete. Then, we discussed our budget and the technology stack required for the fully operational site. They developed it using WordPress, a WooCommerce plugin, HTML, PHP, and jQuery. Although they’ve already delivered the site, we’re still working with them on content- and marketing-related tasks.

I’m in direct contact with the project manager, but I’ve also worked with two designers and two developers from their team.

We explored different websites and asked around for recommendations. Most of the referrals we got hadn’t developed e-commerce sites. When we came across SparxIT, we saw their portfolio online and saw that they had worked on several e-commerce projects — it impressed us.

How did SparxIT perform from a project management standpoint?

SparxIT’s communication is very good. We have weekly meetings through Skype and communicate via Slack. Additionally, we manage the project via Bitrix24 and Trello. Throughout the development process, we had regular progress reports, and we always got a positive response from them on our feedback.

SparxIT is very collaborative. From the start, they’ve understood our requirements and delivered accordingly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if SparxIT provided complimentary service packages for mobile applications, for example. Additionally, they could be more flexible on their financial estimations.

When we approached them, we provided them with a basic wireframe that helped them understand our project better. I suggest doing the same, plus having a clear budget in mind.

I’m the president and CEO of Math You Can See, LLC. We create math manipulatives to help students understand various math concepts. We have two children’s books on the market and manufacture flashcards and games.

We needed help developing a math tutoring platform. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SparxIT is building our math tutoring platform. The app is available on the web, Android, and iOS, allowing tutors to do lessons through laptops, PCs, tablets, or cellphones. 

First, I’ve explained to SparxIT that the app is only for online tutoring, and I’m looking to provide maximum platform options to the tutors. The solution has camera capabilities, allowing the tutor and tutee to see each other. It also has a whiteboard, file sharing, and time scheduling functions. 

Additionally, the app has a discussion forum where users can exchange ideas and meet up. All the payments are handled via the website, and students can pay ahead of time. Tutors create an account to display their expertise, educational background, licenses, and other information, and students can rate the tutor’s profile.

The app hasn’t launched yet, but we’re looking to release it soon. It’s available in English, as I expect most tutees are US-based.

I’ve worked with Richard (Business Solution Architect) and a development lead.

I reached out to several app development companies explaining what I wanted. Most of them said they didn’t have the staff or expertise for our project. SparxIT was the first company to respond positively to our request, so we worked with them.

I’m 100% satisfied with SparxIT’s work — they’ve been able to implement everything I’ve asked from their team. There have been times when I’ve been nitpicky, and they’ve just responded to my requests. 

How did SparxIT perform from a project management standpoint?

SparxIT has done an excellent job. They’re personable, and I appreciate how they meet with me weekly. That allows me to compare their current progress against their last week’s work. I can see what’s being done with the app in real-time. 

Initially, I’ve been hesitant to work with a company based in India. Nonetheless, they’ve been transparent and helped ease my concern. They email frequently, send messages through Skype, and video meet with me weekly. 

The project has ended up costing more than I expected. Nonetheless, I’ve spent a fraction of what another vendor has quoted me for the project. Overall, I feel that the cost makes sense, considering that engineers aren’t cheap and we’ve been working together for over six months.

SparxIT is very personable — that’s a major feature that I find attractive about their team. They have the technical expertise, but on top of that, Richard has been friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. They stay in touch and keep me updated.

I wish SparxIT is here in the US where I can visit them face to face. Other than that, I don’t have any issue working with them.

I’m a Technical Specialist at Matt’s Flights. Our company offers free and premium subscriptions for hand-picked flight deal notifications on a weekly basis. We provide international and domestic deals that depart from the United States or Canada.

We hired SparxIT to build and deploy a mobile app to reach a wider client base. We want our users to gain access to exclusive deals on flights originating from the US or Canada without hassles. Once we explained our requirements, we gave them a few references for clarity. They have been working on our project since then, and the progress speaks for itself.

SparxIT has already worked on our website in the past with great results. We were impressed by the way they handled our project: keeping us in the loop, understanding our requirements on a deep level, and implementing our feedback in a prompt manner. The project is underway as I write this, but we’re really happy with the progress they’ve made – we want to target iOS users, so our app is being made on Xcode using Swift.

Our website has been really successful since its launch, receiving a steady flow of sign-ups and premium clients. We have similar expectations with our app since we started this project after a positive response to the website and numerous queries about an app version. The designs we’ve been through are really promising, and the app functionalities (that are completed) are working just the way we want them.

They divided the project into phases and delivered regular reports on the progress, complications, and implementation of actionable feedback. Skype was the primary mode of communication for meetings and calls. They also kept in touch through email.

The highly professional manner in which they have fulfilled all our expectations. We’ve collaborated with other agencies in the past, but none were as prompt in delivery as SparxIT. They have proven their dependability at every stage of the process, from design to technical implementation.

Our customers were looking for an online medium through which they could order books. We didn’t have an in-house development team, so we sought SparxIT for support.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SparxIT developed a website where our customers could register, order specific books, and then read the digital copies of those books from our online library. We had already established an e-commerce website prior to this engagement, but this new platform was targeted toward our members who wanted to order e-books instead of physical copies. An interactive, user-friendly interface and a fast loading time were also our primary goals for this website, so SparxIT made sure that these were present in the final deliverable. 

Once the website was finished, SparxIT started working on an iOS and Android application. We provided a prototype which they are now in the process of implementing.

Our primary contact is the project manager, and I’ve also interacted with a project coordinator, a UI/UX designer, and two developers.

SparxIT was recommended by one of our friends. We saw that they had experience in creating B2B and B2C websites, and we were able to verify the positive experiences of their past customers, so we decided to engage them.

We started working in July 2021, and the website was completed in October 2021. They’ve since started working on the mobile app development project.

SparxIT has delivered according to our expectations. The online library is working properly and has received positive reviews from our customers. We’re still in the testing phase for the mobile app, but so far, the interface is coming together well.

How did SparxIT perform from a project management standpoint?

We were expecting the web development to take around three months, but their team completed it in two and a half months. We anticipate that the mobile app will take longer to develop, but that’s only because we’ve decided to add e-commerce functionalities on top of the main online library feature. 

Most of our communications are done through Skype and Slack, and they email us all of the documentation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our experience with SparxIT has been so positive. In fact, this is the reason we decided to pursue the development of a mobile app with them. Their portfolio is relevant to what we need — and was the primary reason we engaged them in the first place — and they’re very good at understanding our requirements for each platform’s efficiency.
