Forte

An open source ActivityPub/fediverse server.

It's not a microblog or a macroblog. It's more of a conversation manager. You control the audience and visibility of the conversations you create - at any level of granularity you desire, and reply controls with the same kind of granularity; as well as whose content is subject to approval before their comments become an actual part of the conversation. It doesn't fit into the normal social networking categories you're probably thinking of.

These are some of the ways we've evolved social networking to different models based on real life communications needs -- while they were all busy building surveillance software and debating free speech and creating more billionaires.
