If you want to remove them, you could use something like the unhook.app extension. I only know about it because Pewdiepie linked to it in a recent video, so your milage may vary, but I do know it supports removing shorts entirely.

I agree that it’s a cooperative game, so having an op character doesn’t matter for 99% of things, but I will say that for speedrunning things do get a bit boring when there is a defacto best playstyle, because it just devolves into all of the top runs being the same.

Kinda like on Dome Keeper how the top runs are mostly Acessor using Tesla dome. It’s just a bit bland, but not a ‘game is unplayable’ kinda issue.

My friend started streaming and saw the largest growth out of any platform by uploading clips of his gameplay to YouTube shorts. So I guess my advice would be to make content for a main channel (be that twitch, youtube, etc) and then advertise on some kind of short form content.

The short version is he’s using the gun wrong.

The longer version is an AR-15 has a button on it (the thing he’s pulling in the pic) that is used to fix a very specific problem (specifically making sure that the bolt of the gun is fully closed, because otherwise if you fire it the gun will malfunction). In counterstrike 1.6, all the characters used that button essentially as the guns slide, which you use to put a round in the chainber to be fired (the same way the action hero pumps a shotgun with a click clack to make sure you know he means business).

So the title is sarcastic, because someone pulling on the forward assist like it’s a slide has no idea what the fuck they’re doing.

If you do go this route and plan to provide the button, make sure to call ahead. When I worked at a repair shop we weren’t allowed to use customer parts because we couldn’t certify the work. Other than that though it really is a 5 minute repair, so I’m sure they’d be glad to take your money for a job so simple

Have you played other visual novels? Spending some time in those may help you recognize the tropes of the genre, and then when you see them in DDLC, you’ll know what not to expect since that game is specifically subverting expectations.

As other people have said though, DDLC is very intentionally somewhat upsetting, and there’s nothing wrong with looking up a short synopsis to understand what to expect before deciding for yourself.
