This is accurate. Everyone is Neo in their dreams. They just have to figure it out.

Let’s. Fuckin. Go.

It’s an old picture.

Man… If you really cared about fraud…

Oh fuck. You’re right. That’s all the proof I need to believe Ilhan Omar is funneling money to terrorists. You know what they say, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence a YouTuber begging the question.

In what world would a group of random douchebags with cameras have access to the kids at a daycare?! Grow up.

There is something to what he is saying. Nick Shirley is a YouTuber that went to some daycares where the doors were locked, or they didn’t let him in and concluded they weren’t real daycares. He’s either a fuckin moron or straight up propagandist.
So, here’s the “something.” That clown YouTuber was amplified by right wing politicians. JD Vance said it deserved a Pulitzer. 1 week later, DHS sent 2000 more ICE goons to Minnesota as part of their surge. There is a legitimate case to be made that the was because of Shirley’s video.
It’s. All. So. Stupid.

I think this one is just more obviously a bubble. If the pop is inevitable, then, the sooner the better. That, and the AI everywhere all at once is tangible and in your face. No one I know likes it.

Just did a quick search, and it looks like a handful were shot down during desert storm. Interestingly, 1 was shot down via sidewinder accidentally fired by a wingman during training. So, I guess the true statement should be, “never lost a dogfight?”

That’s for air to air.

That guy to all his friends: “AI makes me 10x more productive!”

My company hired a consulting firm to help with a transition period. The consulting firm sent my boss an email that outlined the plans for what we should do and how they are going to help. Without directly giving it away, the email was clearly AI output, and my boss instantly terminated their contract. We aren’t exactly anti-AI, but to the point of the post, it’s just so rude… and my boss is pretty fuckin cool.

Wishing you the absolute best of luck!
Yes. Custom layout so I was forced to learn touch typing. I’m way faster now than I was with with qwerty after years of programming because I would always find myself looking at the keyboard. So, I guess with qwerty, the same could be accomplished by taking the characters off.
I think that little island there is Alcatraz.
I can definitely respect a limited approach. I personally don’t find any benefit from it. Anecdotally, I’ve become much more productive since switching from OOP style C++, to just straight C. I think a lot of that comes from the boilerplate and ceremony required to make it do the thing, but in C, you just do the thing.
I also think even using objects tends to encourage poorer design choices by thinking in terms of individual items (and their lifetimes) which is enforced by the constructor/destructor model. As opposed to thinking in terms of groups of items which leads to simpler and safer code.
Yup. They made it to the other side of the bell curve meme. Most developers have an OOP phase until they learn that it’s utter bullshit.
