Yes but usually things like rent and taxes end up taking a smaller portion of your income. So even though you went from 130k to 90k taxes and rent went from 60% to 40% of your income. This is of course dependent on your career having roles in cheaper states.

Watch the clip, that is exactly what he is talking about. In context he it saying people should move from expensive metropolitan areas and into cheaper states if they cannot afford to live in the cities.
There was most likely an older train line there. Then it was ripped up and rebuilt on the bridge for local train traffic.
At some point that was probably above ground. The reason many cities have these section not aligned is because they were aligned to the train tracks, not to a compass.
I think Helldivers have about the same rate of friendly fire as Navy Seals, and they probably write less books about it.
The helldivers also have randomized skin colour, so soldiers of all races can become elite troops.
The second one was to Miami I think, but it spent the entire trip raining so Kevin ended up having a better vacation.

Of what? The Ms. Rachel post? I think that was it, the post was just a white screen that said Stop Killing Kids in the center. I saw it on Lemmy earlier but don’t have Twitter to look at the original myself.
Why not run linux on your main and have a Windows 2000 Virtual Machine?

1·2 months agoSmall militarily not small economically. The Royal Netherlands Air Force is small, especially compared to the USAF. The USAF has more pilots than the RNAF has total service members.
The RNAF has 50 F-35s, not all are active at the same time, and Wikipedia does not list any other active combat aircraft since they sent their F-16s to Ukraine. So not a lot of aircraft and not a lot of pilots.

2·2 months agoThere is an argument smaller countries need stealth fighters more than big ones like America because there is a larger emphasis on each plane and pilot. Giving each pilot the competitive edge is necessary when you only have a few hundred pilots max, compared to the USA that has around 15,000.

This clean, orderly, and oppressive society removes the ability to experience real highs like love and real lows like sacrifice. The workers will only know shallow replacements. Furthermore, the workers no longer have the ability to choose. They cannot choose their role in society, and seemingly they cannot choose to leave the society either. Even John is seemingly stuck in the society, and in the end gives into the sensuality and group think after trying to flay himself.
