Dear ones,

It is with a deepest apology that we will be postponing our event on 7th March due to the conflicts in Israel at the moment. Unfortunately, our dear sister, Yael cannot leave the country and therefore can't join us. We don't know when the air ban will be lifted and her welfare and safety is more important to us.

It doesn't feel right to continue without her as this event was based around her songs sharing, visions and deep work she has dedicated to women and peace.

We will keep you updated as soon as things have settled and we have some space to look at future dates to welcome Yael to the UK.

With Thanks,

Lucy & MWG Hearth xxx

Women of the World — UNITE

As part of a powerful series Medicine Woman will be sharing throughout the year, we are overjoyed to welcome the incredible Platinum award-winning musician and women’s rights advocate Yael Deckelbaum to Devon, as we gather to honour International Women’s Day.

This retreat was born from a vision held by Lucy Wylde, Founder of Medicine Woman, as she deepens her devotion to women’s work. She shares:

“For me, what truly matters is that we do not turn a blind eye to what is happening in the world. We have the power to come together, to listen, to witness, and to share in the lived experiences of women across the globe. To pray for peace. To pray for equity. And to remember, deeply, that we are not free until all women are free.”

The day will be lovingly held by Urtema Dolphin, an elder that has been a part of  Medicine Woman from the start, who will ground and open the space. From there, Yael Deckelbaum will share stories and songs gathered from  her experiences of connecting with communities and women around the world, followed by Steph Magenta, whose breathwork and unwavering advocacy for safety and equity bring profound embodiment and truth. The day will culminate in Yael’s powerful live music, including songs from her album dedicated to women worldwide, ‘What About The Women

This gathering is set to be deeply moving and transformative, an invitation to lean in rather than look away, to remember our shared humanity, and to leave empowered with a felt sense of how we each can be a voice for change and to stand for a future where our daughters and sons can grow in safety, equity and peace.

A day of prayer, presence, and collective remembrance.
A call to unity.
A remembering that our liberation is bound together.

Meet Your Hosts!

Yael Deckelbaum

Yael Deckelbaum, is a platinum award-winning Israeli/Canadian singer/songwriter and activist.

Her powerful voice has inspired millions worldwide. Her viral anthem, "Prayer of the Mothers",  has become a symbol of unity and hope.

From her early days as a singer songwriter to her current role as a leading advocate for women's rights, Yael's music continues to break barriers and ignite change, uniting voices and hearts across cultures and continents.

Yael performs internationally throughout Israel, Europe and the USA, where she has become more and more active in using her music to inspire positive change and support non-violent communication between cultures that are in conflict, emphasizing the necessity of female leadership.

In her workshop “What About The Women", Yael will also combine poems and stories from her travels around the world and share insights into the connection between music, activism and healing.

Urtema Dolphin

Urtema has always been attuned to the unseen. From a young age, she experienced vivid dreams of flight, glimpses of faeries, and a deep connection to the natural and spiritual worlds. Her early years were marked by a profound sense of wonder and an unwavering belief in magic, which, like so many of us , she kept hidden for fear of ridicule. A childhood vow to serve the divine laid the foundation for her spiritual path, which awakened fully in 2001 through a deep transformative experience.

Urtema has always had a deep interest and connection to indigenous cultures and peoples and has travelled extensively visiting , living with and learning from many people in many lands . As a channel, healer, ceremonialist  and Complementary Therapist, Urtema now supports others in their healing and awakening. She stands today as a wise elder, holding the light of love and truth, guiding others with compassion and clarity so they too may rise into their own power and purpose.

Urtema has supported Medicine Woman from the beginning and it is an honour to have her gifts,  presence and holding with us.

I see beyond the veil of illusion into the landscape of potential, and from there I support my clients to move towards true self expression. Primarily, I use the breath, shamanism, and a skillset gained in many years of a wide range of health & wellness businesses to support you in living the life that was meant for you.

Lucy Wylde

At the heart of all my work as a creatrix is a deep sense of connection, belonging, and empowerment. My intention is to create spaces where every woman is honoured and heard, weaving together the threads of wisdom and healing. Through these gatherings, I bring together medicine women and elders, holding the space for collective healing and empowerment.

My own journey continues to be one of profound inner work and resilience. Wisdom beyond my years and a deep sense of connectivity have always been at the core of who I am. I believe that every woman has a voice and deserves to reclaim her sovereignty, especially in these times of rapid change.

In this work, my vision is to foster a village of empowerment, education, and celebration, where every woman remembers her medicine. This work is not just about healing; it’s about reclaiming our collective voice and the wisdom that resides within us all.
