These initiatives are part of DG Connect’s participation in Web Summit 2025, focused on helping innovators translate Europe’s digital vision into practical benefits. These contributions will be enhanced by the participation of Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen, who will provide her vision in relation to Europe's digital future during a fireside chat, taking place on 11 November on the Main Stage.
During our Masterclasses, our EU digital policy experts will explain the support available to companies under the new Apply AI Strategy and the AI Act Service Desk, and how businesses can leverage EU interoperability policies to thrive in a fair digital market.
The DigitalEU communication team will be on the ground sharing insights and highlights together with a group of DigitalEU Ambassadors, who will bring the voice of young innovators to the conversation.
Alongside DG Connect, other EU bodies will also be present at the Summit. The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) will showcase opportunities for accessing cutting-edge computing systems. The Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) will present EU funding opportunities and showcasing successful projects, and will be present with a booth (number: E326) at Pavilion 3.
