They really decided to make 4 episodes… and that’s it? Why? I mostly liked what was there, but it’s definitely just an opener. It sets things up and that’s it. Definitely will never watch it again if this is indeed the end of it. If they just wanted to show what everyone was doing after all this time they only needed the first episode. It’d still be stupid though.

      I mean… Yeah.

But also it’s a reunion special. Sometimes you get the “retrospective reunion” like the Friends special. Sometimes you get the “where are they now”, see Monk or Psych.

In recent years we’ve got the full spinoff revival like Fuller House or Girl Meets World. And in the past year we’ve got the true revival, like King of the Hill or Scrubs.

For enough money, sure maybe we get more, but I never expected more.

Probably for the same reason Scrubs only had 9 episodes; scheduling conflicts from the actors and they weren’t sure how well received it would be before they commit to a second season.

he wanted to continue his physics career path, aka scientist. seems like "frankie was quite miserable after the show, because he was only known as malcom and he was badgered enough by media, that invented the stroke story to get them to stop talking.

I think he’s the smartest of them since he figured out going to Europe would let him stay out of the family, but not be hated for it.
