2·22 days agoI believe the T-deck firmware is proprietary.
And I realise that people can license their apps however they want, I’m just saying the main apps endorsed by the project are proprietary.

4·23 days agoUnfortunately the primary apps and the firmware for some devices is proprietary. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth for a project like this.

Ah that’s good to know. I’ve only ever done regular Debian, and was considering trying yunohost to give an easy way of managing some of the applications, but maybe I won’t

Yeah the weird licensing situation concerns me too. I’m sticking with meshtastic for the time being I think.
