At one of my previous jobs there was a guy with really expensive looking glasses. Something like gold plated aviator type but really fancy looking. Job was 1000% not as well paid to buy anything like this. I have asked him about his glasses and he gave a nice pro tip: Just buy used frame and put lenses inside yourself.

Makes sense. Used frames are dirt cheap. Senses are not so expensive for a simple sunglasses with no dyoptres. Can go fancy and get some scratchproof polarized lenses and not overpay for a $500 raybans.

Also, afaik, rayban owns pretty much any other glass brand. So, pointless to get rayban for so expensive.

For me, major fail from Democrat side was to not acknowledge Biden’s mental state, actively hide it as if he’s going to run 2nd tern no issues. Kamala was chosen not by people but by a party. She is vice president, no primaries happened, she has to run I guess.

Wdym when Steam was not dominant? Minecraft was released in 2009 and by that time tons of games were sold on Steam and there was barely any competition except maybe infamous GFWL and GOG who were certainly not a decent competitors in any way.

For Minecraft it took a few years to become widely popular. I think it only took off around beta 1.1-1.2 which is about 2010-2011. By 2011 Steam was an unstoppable game-selling supermachine.

The game is Horses and they got huge ad campaign out of it. Thing is, game is mid and wouldn’t sell a thousand copies without the shitstorm they’ve built up.

Look. Minecraft originally was not sold on any platforms except directly by mojang and is probably the most famous indie game to date. It is not death sentence unless your product is crap. But it is a certain bonus to be sold on the most popular platform.

Been watching CS2 tournaments since summer 2025 again. Pros kind of already do not reload so often. Most of the time it is in the end of the round when stakes are high with 1v1 and reloading would reveal your position to an enemy. I have seen so many last bullet shots and have heard so many “low ammo while shooting” sounds.

Also, funny how community is divided on this one. I would say that it is not about reality. It is about additional mechanics for pros and alike. It probably wont change fundamentals of the game.

To those who think it is a fair compromise: It is not.

Android already had one layer of this shit before. When installid freshly dowloaded apk, android would prompt you to confirm that the source of the apk is trusted. This was not like this before. Before you’d just install apk.

And I agree to a certain amount. But thing is, it was added for no specific reason. People who install apks form outside source, will keep doing it and they 99% of the time know what they are doing or being told to do so by someone who knows what they are doing.

Adding another layer to this wont solve the problem, except make users annoyed for 24h wait time. And this is only adding 1 layer now. Who the fuck knows what is going to be 1 year later. 5 years later?

And that somehow supposed to stop users from inflicting their phones with virus software? Like, it does not make sense. Okay, force all devs to upload their IDs, no biggie (I guess). But do not lock users into the “tough luck, you cant sideload” system. 1 day wait will not prevent anything. They just added a mild annoyance for 24h, nothing more.

I mean, yeah. They do. Would it be finally enough to stop all scammers online? All in on a clear “No”.

In my hometown they cut a whole line of tall old trees on the side of the road. They used to cover me from the sun on the last few minutes of walking back home from school. It was very beautiful and green. Now it just looks like a wasteland.
