12·2 days agoNo, designated as a terrorist group because they broke into an RAF base and damaged aircraft.
Criticising Israel and opposing genocide is perfectly valid, attacking a country that’s stuck in the middle of it because you don’t like that they’re embroiled in a 100 year old mess they’ve been trying to mediate the whole time, is a different thing entirely.
If Palestinian action wanted to make a difference they’d target the Israeli embassy but they didn’t, because they’re not protestors they’re saboteurs.

The poor on the right will always defend the rich and the left will always have to fight both because the right wing only want to hurt people.

2·2 days agoPeople like that are in a constant battle to prove how exceptional they are while being completely unexceptional. They have no real success stories so they have to create some by painting this image in their heads that they are naturally superior to everyone else. Every one of them have Dunning-Kreuger syndrome.

3·2 days agoI’ll say it. It’s AI. I was about to comment that I hate how everyone is adopting this LinkedIn lunatics style of writing:
A thing happened It was this thing Or that thing It was this other thing Platitude.
But you just made me facepalm myself because of course it’s AI. It’s the content creator’s ambrosia.
Turning a corner was like opening a submarine hatch. The brakes locked up causing more accidents and deaths. The suspension allowed the cars to roll easier. And if you were hit by one of them, you had a much higher chance of severe injury or death due to the lack of crumple zone.
People really need to stop looking for solutions to modern problems by looking to the past at the things that were the reason we ended up with the modern problems.
Which is ironic because everyone has, at least once, been asked “but how does it work?” and have answered “dunno, but it does”
I’d say emotional intelligence is understanding why you feel a certain way and not allowing the automatic reaction to those feelings to be the default reaction.
Like if something makes you angry, instead of going crazy, you take a deep breath and address it calmly. It’s primarily emotional regulation.
It’s like that retort when people ask why being a slut is viewed negatively while being a stud isn’t, it’s easy to be a slut, it’s not easy to be a stud.

6·22 days agoYeah the only thing we can do in this relationship is NOT give them our business. Which I, ironically, say as a Google pixel owner.
It’s their restaurant they get to make their food however they want and if we don’t like it we just don’t eat there.
Personally I’m looking to change os but when it comes time to replace my phone I’ll be buying European or Asian. If I can rid myself of American businesses in my life, I’ll feel much better.
Lucky you. My city, Edinburgh has one of the highest rated public transport systems. The buses and trams are always full. I use them often but I hate every second of it, it’s a horrible experience, card machines that randomly refuse random cards while accepting others, anti social behaviour, litter strewn about the bus by the recent passengers, windows being opened when it’s cold and closed when it’s sweltering, buses showing up at random times, rude drivers, ridiculous charges for jumping on the tram without a ticket because the ticket machines weren’t working, cancellations and route diversions that aren’t properly sign posted leaving you standing for half an hour with a ticket you can’t refund before some kind soul happens to walk past and give the news that the route stopped 3 stops back, a 45 minute journey becomes 2 hours. I could go on and on, public transport is necessary but under capitalism it’s shit. I’ll stick to driving when I don’t have time for deviations.
