I’m tired of people trying to predict the presidential result from the municipal ones. It’s a completely different election type, with a different voting method and veeeery different stakes.

During the 2020 municipal elections, LR (“The Republicans”) had good results, but in the 2022 presidential election, their candidate Valérie Pécresse got less than 5% of votes in the first round.
