You’re fortunate to have a job that will let you make mistakes. Most employers would just fire you, then deny you your last paycheque to pay for the damages to their business.

Yeah okay you tell Mike Tyson he made that mistake. I’ll see you on the other side, cause that man can still punch your brain right out of your head.
Just make sure you get your rabies vaccine. Bats can transmit it to you without your knowledge.

31·1 day agoI’d rather they do something with substance than just a performance. There is zero chance that this follows through and all it will do it give Trump more ammunition for the next person who questions his fitness to serve. Unless there’s an actual chance that impeachment or invoking the 25th amendment might go somewhere it’s just political theatre.

9·3 days agoCannontically Nog also beat the Kobayashi Maru, except Nog didn’t cheat. Nog did it by opening negotiations with I think the opponents in this version were Klingons. He stayed in there so for so long and developed a trade scheme so complex the simulator faulted out. RIP Aron Eisenberg.
How is this difficult to understand? She wrote the books. The books are hers. The books themselves promote anti-trans attitudes, regardless of whether or not they have anti-trans themes. Anyone who still consumes any of her work is transphobic. It really is that simple.
Yeah a wrong username means both are wrong. That’s not how it works, that’s not how any of this works.
Even if you download it and J.K.R. doesn’t see a penny you’re still engaging with media that is anti-trans and that’s just as bad. There is no ethical consumption of her work, full stop.

…I don’t know what Blackpilling means and at this point I’m too afraid to ask.
Fine you don’t want to have a debate or have people challenge your opinions. You only want to tell others that their opinions are objectively wrong and everyone else except for you and your chosen few are idiots. My dude, what you’re doing isn’t new, I’ve been seeing it on the internet for decades.
Learning to not ask questions, feeling like a pleb when everyone else is a guru, and having RTFM yelled at you is part of the Linux experience. What else do you expect me to do when someone asks me a question? Provide that new user with a level headed answer that concisely addresses their problem in-order to encourage them to join the Linux community and help it to grow? Are you even listening to yourself right now, you sound crazy.

25·14 days agoAll that is just letters of intent or even flimsier agreements, there’s no contracts or actual money changing hands.
Not quite. So while none of it has been made the pre-production, procurement, scheduling machine time, that is what’s going to make retooling to make consumer RAM take forever. TSMC or whomever can’t just flip a switch and produce a different product. It takes weeks to months to change over production that complicated. Money will change hands, work has already been done and agreed upon.

18·14 days agoEven then, I’ve heard many people who drank the MAGA cool’aid who complain about Trump’s policies doing terrible things to them personally. Then in the same breath remark that at least he isn’t a Democrat. Anyone who still supports him will always support him, there is no longer any middle ground. It’s for or against, that’s it.

4·20 days agoYou’r made of spare parts aren’t ya bud?
I don’t have solar panels but I’ll try to answer your questions. Let’s start with why you may be charged for supplying electricity to the grid.
The Electrical grid is amazing, we can transfer power from one place to another with ease because of it, although it has several limitations. One limitation is that for the most part electricy that is generated must be immediately used or else it decay into heat. The more electricity generated the more heat is produced, and unused electricity becomes extra heat. The components on the grid are only designed to operate within certain limits. If the grid is already supplying more power than it needs and then someone starts to supply even more electricity the grid will be in trouble, components will wear out faster or break. So extra electricity that can’t be stored in just as bad as not enough. That cost is shared between grid suppliers in some areas resulting in a cost for supplying electricity.
Also solar panels have switches that regulate the electricity they provide to the grid and it’s those switches which wear out and break. Solar panels don’t need much maintenance or repair but the supporting circuits do.

Donald Trump is literally everything wrong with The United States of America distilled down to a person and squeezed into an ill fitting suit. All the self obsession, anti-intelectualism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, paedophilia, war mongering, greed, hate, and cruelty rolled into the ugliest person you’ll ever know. Did I miss anything?
