Both started as a story attached to a creepy image on 4chan. For the Backrooms it really got popularised by a guy on youtube making videos turning it into a further scary story. That same guy on youtube is directing the A24 movie which is pretty epic

I think being into fomula e myself is also the reason I have been more receptive of these cars than many. To me there is still a ton of super interesting racing and strategy to be done. Though F1 should definitely look at FE in terms of showing us the oh so important data to understand these strategic battles. (Battery (re)charge, modes, top speeds (because they apply to the modes), maybe even brake/accel)
