A fun game is Mini Airways, which also deals with managing the takeoff and landing of planes. According to this Game, I am NOT qualified for that job.
2·vor 7 TagenThe first thing I downloaded at home was Star Wars Imperial march using a 56k modem. But before that a colleague of my father made a fair bit of money using his relatively fast internet connection to download games and apps from newsgroups, effectively running a subscription service offering 1 CD each with programs and games per month. I still have the Mp3, but the CDs are long gone.
Edit: I just recalled that on one of the CDs the game Battlecruiser 3000AD had a virus - it complained that the executable had been modified, and looking at the exe with an hex editor I found the Signature “At the grave of Grandma…” In the file. A quick search with a manually defined search pattern using f-prot revealed that nearly every executable on my PC was infected. At least my efforts were able to protect a lot of people from the same fate when I reported back to that guy.
1·vor 8 TagenYeah it happens with the I/O widgets for my Btrfs mount point for my HDDs, which takes a few seconds after the shell loads to become available. Haven’t found a way to delay loading of widgets yet.
When I type p I get “plasmashell --replace --no-respawn” because I have to reload plasmashell twice after reboot to get all my widgets in working state lol

There is actually another way: Make sure that having more children increases your economic security and social standing (not just lip service!). As long as having children results in a setback in any of those 2 categories, nothing will change. Sadly, I do not know of any country that has tried this approach yet, so i do not know if it works.
