Nobidys saying prosecute refugees before they’ve done anything wrong. Why would it be so outrageous and unthinkable to require any applicant basically participate in basically everything that ended up needing to be done anyway when this particular refugee was fighting his charges but front-load that and ensure that anyone we take in is not only sized up but also supported to get them up to speed and compatible with an entirely different society/expectations? If all these things and this whole case writ large comes down to medical, it could have easily been the price of admission if the system gave a fuck about doing no or least harm
