Sorry, it seems like we are talking past one another. I think the principle is that you have a site and use social media channels to drive traffic to your site and that applies if you are someone writing a blog or if you have other kinds of material that you want to post online.

I took that as POSSE is a principle that applies to more than just blogging. E.g. if you take photographs, you should not let an external photo sharing site be the sole place where your work is shared/stored.

Thank you for writing this: I have found that extremely simplified and chopped sentences are actually distracting and more difficult to follow once they become too atomized and short. It makes it hard to tell what the thesis is and what’s supporting material.

I loved Hot Dog Stand. It’s one of the reasons why Windows 3.1 is one of my favorite operating systems: I have so many fond memories of what it was like computing with it. I no longer have a Windows machine and I’m convinced that all software should be free/libre, but I’ll always have a soft spot for this OS.
