Create omnichannel content

You can create omnichannel content (OCC) in the following ways:

• Application UX
• API (Create or Edit) in to the Library
• API and External Step in Task – Create or Edit

Every content version is bound to a content type's version. When you create content, the content uses the latest version of the content type. If a content type version changes after a piece of content was created by a previous version, the new content type version does not apply retroactively to the piece of content unless you explicitly migrate the content's content type version. There can be pieces of content with the same content type but with various content type versions. This is something to remember, especially in the context of pull distribution.
