Liquidity Marketplace
Capital efficient liquidity mining for DAOs
Hyperlock is a purposefully tuned meta-governance protocol, driven by the goal of building liquidity and trading volume on Thruster. As both Hyperlock and other DAOs share the same goal of building liquidity, these projects have the unique opportunity to incentivize liquidity at a lower cost with Hyperlock.
With Hyperlock’s liquidity marketplace, projects are able to nudge $HYPER lockers to direct $HYPER and $THRUST emissions to their own pools by providing voting incentives to them.

By doing so, projects often enjoy a 1.5x – 3x efficiency on their dollar spent. This means that compared to directing incentives on their own, projects can save up to 2x the cost when using Hyperlock to incentivize pools.

Why Use Hyperlock?
Liquidity is arguably the most valuable resource in crypto markets, especially for projects with stable-assets and/or liquid staking tokens. Initially, projects directly incentivized liquidity solely by emitting their governance tokens to liquidity providers. However, results have shown that it is an extremely costly endeavour, and tends to be taken advantage by unaligned mercenary capital.
With Hyperlock, projects can achieve capital efficient liquidity while working with an aligned partner.
How Do Hyperlock and $HYPER lockers benefit?
By bootstrapping liquidity, the liquidity flywheel on Hyperlock/Thruster gets kickstarted. This has potential to result in a continuous growth in liquidity, volume, and fees generated for stakeholders.

If protocol fees for Thruster increases, $THRUST tokens may become more valuable. As $HYPER lockers are able to control some $THRUST emissions, partners may increase the amount of voting incentives given to direct emissions to their pool.
Hyperlock – Blast’s Liquidity Hub
By creating a liquidity marketplace for projects, Hyperlock enables the smoother and more efficient creation of liquidity and economic activity on Blast. Traders, liquidity providers, liquidity partners, Blast, and Hyperlock stakeholders will all benefit.
