Aquesta es la prima Maqueta de Doedsqvad, y grabose en distintas Sessiones entre mediados del 2018 AB y Prinçipias del 2019 AB.
Es también el primo Material jamás grabado para Doedskvad. Curiosamente, no grabé las primas Cantziones que compuse para’l Proyecto.

Recuerdo que «Wrath through my Sword», «The Sleeping Wizard», y «Massacre» fueron delas primeras Cantziones qu’escribí y que conservo, siendo la más antigua «Wrath…». Guardo muy buenos Recuerdos d'esta Maqueta.

La Verdad es qu'es un Estilo muy distinto al que considero que caracteriza á Doedsqvad. Si no recuerdo mal, n'esta Época ya estaba componiendo Cantziones para lo que acabó siendo «Old & Current Tales» y «Ár Var Alda» (n'un Prinçipio eran Cantziones para un solo Álbum, pero al final me di cuenta de qu’era demasiado Material, assí que lo dividí en dos), Çimientos de Doedsqvad.

Esta nueva Editzión ha sido preparada n’Octubre del 2778 AUC / 2025 AB, no ha sido remasterizada (ni siquiera fue masterizada en su Día), pero he toquiteädo un poco'l Volumen delas Cantziones para que no sëa muy distinto entre unas y otras.
También he añadidas dos Pistas aditzionales con contemporánëos Ensayos de duas Cantziones que acabaron aparesçiendo más adenante en el Repertorio del Grupo.

La Portada original era simplemente'l Bitxarraco este que se ve en el Çentro. Es un Recorte qu’encontré n’una Revista o algo assí, quando tenía dieciséys Años; consideré qu’iba á ser el “Logo” de Doedsqvad. En todavía conservo’l Papelutxo esse. He tratado de respetar el Diseño dela Portada original.

This is Doedskvad’s first Demo, and ‘twas recorded in different Sessions between mid 2018 AB and early 2019 AB.
‘Tis also the first Material ever recorded by Doedskvad. Curiously, I didn’t record the first Songs I wrote for the Project.

I remember that «Wrath through my Sword», «The Sleeping Wizard», and «Massacre» were some of the first Songs I wrote and still preserve, being «Wrath...» the oldest one. I have really good Memories of this Demo.

‘Tis definitely quite a different Style of what I consider now to be Doedskvad. If I remember correctly, at that Time I was already composing Songs for what ended up being «Old & Current Tales» and «Ár Var Alda» (at first they were Song for just one Album, but I realised that ‘twas just too many Material, so I divided it in two), Foundations of Doedskvad.

This new Edition, prepared in October of 2778 AUC / 2025 AB, hasn’t been remastered (‘twas not even mastered when originally published), but I have touched up the Volume of the Songs to make it a bit more consistent throughout the whole Demo.
I have also added two bonus Tracks with contemporaneous Rehearsals of two Songs that ended up appearing later in the Band’s Catalogue.

The original Cover was simply the Deer that can be seen on the Centre. ‘Tis from a Magazine or something like that, I found it when I was 16 years old and thought that it would be the Band’s Logo. I still have that Paper. I’ve tried to keep the new Cover Art as similar as possible to the original one.
