I mean, an arguably better counterargument would just be: you aren’t secure by a massive amount as it is with your normal stuff and the dedicated level by which somebody would have to be to try to vector in through a lightbulb would be state sponsored.

But also, non wifi bulbs just don’t introduce this issue at all and never will.

But also, I also use and like rgb smart lights/bulbs, so there’s that.

It’s not even good light, either. It’s really narrow band light that isn’t natural, and so is really bad for fast object recognition and is blinding and glare.

Like using a laser pointer to illuminate stuff, it’s just gonna blind you and not really make it easier to see.

And it fucks up your ability to see outside of that light source, like having a really bright monitor in a dark room that you ALSO need to see.
