  • I’m going off just the info in this post. Have you tried a known working CPU? IIRC, both the CPU and motherboard must support TPM for it to work. If it’s not the motherboard, then the CPU is the likely culprit. And make sure the CPU is one your motherboard will support even if it has the factory BIOS, just in case.

    When troubleshooting, it’s best to swap out parts one at a time, individually, with a known working component . Or vice versa; put one of your parts at a time in a known working computer.

    I know sometimes that’s not possible and you’ve got to take a best guess, but it’s best to know for sure that replacing the part is going to fix the problem else you risk wasting money.

    EDIT: And I’m not suggesting the CPU you have doesn’t support TPM. I’m just thinking the CPU is messed up in some way that’s preventing it from working properly. As if I needed another reason to hate TPM.
