It really is shitty out there most of the year. Even in summer it can be 95 degrees in the valley and raining on the coast. Most of the people living out on the coast are natives, retirees, and Trump supporters as there isnt much work outside of casinos, gas station/fast food, and logging. Is there even a spot to “shove it?” You’d also need to wire power (constant and switched), ground, and all the speaker wiring plus mount speakers inside somehow. It sounds like their intention is literally using a Bluetooth speaker for the base model without a stereo or infotainment.

I’m more curious how they’re getting around the backup camera mandate since the only option is a phone/tablet mount, but even with that you won’t be able to display a backup camera even if that hardware is included.

You should be able to find tutorials on YouTube or follow the TRaSH guide. You don’t need to expose this stuff to the internet, only your download client like Qbittorrent. For movies and TV, all you’d need is a download client + VPN, sonarr (TV), radarr (movies), Prowlarr (handles indexers/trackers), and possibly Jellyseer for requests from you or those you share with in a single UI. There are other *arrs for music (Lidarr), books, porn, etc too. Lidarr can integrate with SoulSeek if thats what you’re using to fill content for Navidrome, but you would use Jellyfin as the media player.

Yes they’ll integrate well with Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin. You just paste API keys from one to another to allow them to communicate.
