Well, not all EU countries share laws. There’s the EU laws, and then there’s the countries own laws. We (here in Denmark) is often a bit more secure, than most other countries - and because my provider is in the country I live in, if there are any disputes, they can be settled here, without spending a million on lawyer fees… :-)

My own country. It’s very transparent here (DK)…

Do remember to mention, that they also have limited space and functionality… So free, yeah, but only for minimal users…
maybe it already does… https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market-share/desktop/worldwide/
There’s no good alternatives for you… “You” are the option here… For everyone else, there’s alternatives… That you don’t want to use them, that’s on you. If you think that X or insta has good algorithms, just shows that you don’t know those platforms…

Don’t disagree in that point. The problem is, that phone companies don’t want to support anything really… so until an open source project in that regard, is accepted by the major phone companies, we would have a hard time switching… And since they are paid and bribed by the ones in majority, like Google and Apple, that won’t likely happen, unless there’s some good politicians doing their gd dmn job…

But the problem is not Android itself. It’s that google has populated it with tracking, profiling and in general anti-privacy software… Remove that, and you have a decent OS…
What games can’t you play on linux? Some apps can’t be run natively in linux, but use an emulation for them. That will work…
There are alternatives… Just search on “alternatives to”… You are sitting on an alternative. What it lacks, are that people help other people get here…

Sure it is. It’s the US that’s not ready for what it will cost…

That people becomes willing to pay for the services they need - and that someone NOT greedy makes that service…

That’s a no go from here…
There are ways to bypass some of the issues. But for me, what works the best, is to get used to use the tool that fits the job best, and sometimes that’s two or three tools for the same project. It’s exactly if I do some woodwork (carpenter work), I might use both a saw, a hammer, a chisel, a drill and a screwdriver… It really doesn’t bother me, to use more apps to create something I’m satisfied with. :-)
Inkscape, Gimp, Krita is my most used apps on Linux… :-) On SloWindows it’s mostly Inkscape and Affinity…
Well, don’t put anything in your luggage that you can’t afford to loose. People strangely enough still traveled before any kind of tags (besides those in paper and plastic, put on the luggage). :-)
If don’t trust the airline, don’t put something in your luggage you can’t afford to loose. Take responsibility for the things you have, and if you need it, get an insurance for your luggage.
You know… I know how to take care of my stuff, without making Apple or anyone else rich. ;-)

I love using OsmAnd~ It’s better than google and comaps…
I know… but they do know how to copy and paste, and that’s what they need to be able to… Those I have told about it, in this way, are relieved and not afraid of it…
Are you here to troll, or why do you expect me to teach you on this subject? Seriously, if you need to compare all the laws, be my guest, but don’t be daft about it in here.
