It is weird how much importance people put on karma. Even I have to admit it felt good when I’d see my posts and comments upvoted but I never once cared for my aggregated karma.

I’m patriotic in the sense that I want what is best for my countrymen. I want that to be done in a manner where both me and my country are ethical and productive members of our global society.

It’s a systemic issue that provides us such terrible candidates. Pretending the bar can be set higher, GIVEN THE CURRENT SYSTEM, is naively optimistic.

You hate Obama? Despite his flaws Obama was easily the most ethical President we’ve had in generations. With our current system and political climate I see him being about as good as it gets.

I know plenty of Millennial and Gen Z Trump supporters. Don’t blame this on lead poisoning because the problem isn’t miraculously dying with the Boomers.

We should be really quiet and polite while these guys actively destroy our country from within.
