I’m not a software developer and Linux has been fantastically easy for me to understand and use on my personal machine. Especially easier than windows 11 that my employer installed on my work machine.

I would suggest that it would be more accurate if you would focus on your own experiences and difficulties with Linux instead of bringing up “anyone who isn’t a software developer”.

I use keepassXC for work and I only use it on one machine at a time. I don’t have any experience syncing it around to multiple devices, so you might have a better perspective than I do on that.

For personal use, I self host vaultwarden and use it on my desktop and Android phone. I’m able to use the bitwarden app just fine on my phone, even when I turn on airplane mode and am unable to sync.

Bitwarden works offline. Obviously can’t save to the server, but reading from what’s already on your local machine works just fine.

While it’s correct that Android is Linux, I feel that it shouldn’t count and it’s incongruent with Linux as a whole. With what Google has done, and plans to do, I feel that it’s disingenuous to count Android when talking about Linux market share.
