As I said in the other thread the whole ZOG thing is an old ass Nazi trope. Israel does not control the US it is a client of the US and a front to launder our own warcrimes through. Mossad, AIPAC, Lykud, et al all exist on US dollars. Any money they spend to “influence” US politics is money we give them. Literally just playing into anti-semitic tropes that actually help Israel and the US by bolstering their own propaganda that equates Israel with Jews.

it never really seems like it’s that cut and dried though. Sure they survive on US payroll but they have used that money to buy out those who control the purse strings.

I see a lot of people conflating AIPAC with isfake but it’s unclear to me how correct that is technically. They lobby in support of isfake but I have always seen them as an American Zionist lobby since they are HQ’d in Washington DC (war crime capital of the world). I see it as a reflection of the American interest in propping up isfake. A lot of American bourgeoisie are heavily invested in isfake because of a mixture of religious zealotry and business interest.

This is such a ridiculous assertion. How can they control the purse strings when all the money they get is given by the imperial hegemon?

Do you somehow think Israel could exist if we simply stopped giving them material support? Do you think they actually control the US because they are a money laundering outfit for the ruling class?

Please explain how they do this.

Obviously yes, they would cease to exist pretty quickly if the US cut the financial support.

What I’m saying it’s more complicated than the US merely providing money no strings attached. They do have a certain amount of power on account of that and they do wield it effectively.

For instance, is there a single anti-israel congressmember holding office? Even one? I’m not talking about pooh-poohing on sending them weapons to continue the genocide, but any that are outspoken about our fucked up relationship with the settler state?

You won’t find any because they’ll never get elected to Congress in the first place. Is that strictly because of Israel’s influence and lobbying? Most certainly no, but it’s at least small part of the reason, considering the money that AIPAC and other israeli lobbies pour in, again even if that money came from the US originally.

We provide aid to a lot of countries and I’d be hard pressed to name another one that has a notable influence, if any at all, in our political or propaganda environments.

I don’t know how this equates to anti-semitism as such either. I don’t think any of us here conflate zionism with judaism.

Yes and where does that money come from? The US. You are playing into antisemitic tropes when you claim they control the US. It is the other way around.

Do you like…know how to read? I think you should check the entire thread to understand full context instead of recklessly conflating my anti-zionism with anti-semitism.

Saying the israeli state is controlling the government has nothing to do with jewish people just the state of israel they are seperate thing you know. You can be a jew and be heavily against the state of israel. Nor is every zionist a jew.

Because superpowers, even if “allied”, tap on each other and spy on each other. Every country does this. It would make sense for Israel to do whatever is it’s best interest to get it’s overlord to continue turning a blind eye and shrugging the shoulders at their project of “Greater Zion”.

That is because most Western politicians care more about their upper-class fellows than ordinary people, and the President is merely one ruling-class individual out of many.

The occupation does not have enough bargaining chips to keep its financiers on a tight-leash; the relationship is quite asymmetrical. The White, upper-class goyim have the final say here and I think that they would prefer it if Jews left their countries.

Agreed. I would like anyone to sit down and actually consider if Israel could have survived on it’s own the past 60-70 years without any financial, logistical and military support the U.S has offered.

People don’t realize that satrapies/vassal-states can influence back or even sometimes very rarely outgrow their original founders. The “outgrow” part isn’t the case with Isn’trael, it’s just that when I bring up an example such as the Angevine Empire that would be considered “out-growing” their original overlord. For more succinct examples I would point to the Dutch and Italian states of the Holy Roman Empire, whom the Imperial Core (heh) was very happy to do whatever they can to keep and integrate them into the Empire to reduce their autonomy but still maintained republics without imperial power.

With examples out of the way, I still believe Isn’treal is strongly a U.S vassal. If you were to remove all U.S support, money and logistics behind the settler project it would take about two or three decades before it collapses entirely as it becomes a political pariah near immediately. A few decades back, I would give it a week but ultimately they have successfully, in collaboration with the United States, neutered and stomped all “resistance” in the area to the West besides for Iran whom they were sparring with. But, because of that and the years of mutual defense, economy and these goals being achieved in the middle-east, Isn’treal has successfully developed some influence back as all vassal-states do when they grow large, rich and at this point, unimpeded. I strongly believe in the future once “Greater Zion” is achieved, if ever, Isn’treal will gladly take a more distant relationship with the United States. Already, they are keen to insult the President that has bent over backwards for them because they didn’t fall asleep on the shipment button like Biden did and ask no questions.

edit: I saw a discussion on hexbear from ZWQbpkzl that said a good part of the Isn’treali psychosis related to lobby and investing so much back into it’s overlord is because their existence relies entirely on us. That’s a good way to put it too.

the dnc didn’t just cancel those speakers because of aipac, they also have an endless well of contempt for racialized people and poor people and anyone who has a spine. if there were no aipac the united states and its politicians would act in much the same way, because spending billions of dollars to bomb the middle east materially benefits most if not all factions of the imperial bourgeoisie
