Cute Russian comic. The home of the official English version is here if anyone wants to skip ahead (or support them): https://boosty.to/gabiconomics-en

Employee turnover is the general term for rates measuring a company’s loss of its workforce (i.e. employees).

Something tells me Gabi’s about to have a much higher quality product than the Chief can offer gabi-checklist maybe those cost cutting efforts won’t save you in the end.

I mean he can do that. It doesn’t make sense for him to, but he can. More likely he does the bulk order thing with the wood, but with metal

I might have just messed up some people’s notification settings by mistyping Gabital as “abital” when posting then editing it afterwards.

I did get a notification! But my first automation’s trial expired and the second service I tried both checks less frequently and will expire too in about 8 days. The bigger problem is that Hexbear decided it’d basically go down for 10 minutes right after I got the notification.

I’m interested, what automation are you talking about?

I set up Zapier to monitor an RSS feed and send events to PagerDuty but when the trial expired, Zapier’s free plan apparently only supports 2-step automations, so either I can no longer filter out other posts, or they want money. Neither is going to happen.

I then tried Make.com to achieve the same, but at 15 minute checks, will burn through the monthly free plan credits in ~10 days total.

Next I’ll either probably need to scale back the intrusiveness of the notifications so that I can use more typical methods of monitoring RSS feeds, or set up my own script with a cronjob, but then I’d need to figure out where I’ll actually run it, though I probably have some “no more costly than they already are” options for it.

E: actually one other possibility might be using another service to pre-filter the RSS feed so I can plug that into Zapier.

I really like the comic, but I have to say that every now and then some panels are a bit sus. Like why are Gabi and Falke the only gobs that wear the overalls without a shirt on, lol.

The hint of sexualization in the art style with no sexualization in the context feels like a way to draw people in.

I’m sure the gobboob got people to click, then they read the content and just like the story.

This is slightly embarrassing to admit but I originally discovered the comic on a site that’s usually just porn

Yeah. Also interestingly, these new gobs don’t have overalls, they just have pants with suspenders.
