    This has to be the way. I know that many people don’t ever donate to anything FOSS, but we really need to normalise it.

      The more it’s talked about the more normalized it’ll become

      I don’t donate to as many projects as I’d like but it’s way WAY more than I did 10 years ago

      Godot, Blender, and KDE are this month’s donations. I had to cut a couple out for the next couple months due to various financial reasons but I’ll pick back up soon on the other projects.

    yes! yes!! yes!!!

    i much rather pay for development of software that i and everyone else can use and adapt forever, that is actually made to fulfill needs, and that does not spy on me, than for software that gets enshittified, i will lose access to, and that only cares about extracting profits.

    propriatary corpo software is really a bane on this world, and its so sad that people keep chosing it over the free (as in freedom) alternatives
