Yeah, nothing is organic. Feels like it’s not normal to the characters too, because they have to keep explaining it to themselves.
The message is not the issue, the inability of the writers to insert it in the story is.

Americans (and people in general) will outrage for the things the media tells them to outrage.

If this tech appeared four or five years ago, it would be all praise around here…
AI hate is becoming “hate for the hate” just because it’s the dominant opinion.
“Artistic intent…” When did you guys care about artistic intent before? Did you ever use a mod to change visual aspects of a game?
It’s very sad that people still suffer for something that shouldn’t be an issue to anyone. This hate is fed to ignorant people so they don’t focus on real issues that affect their life.
There are some cultures where bigots are more prevalent, with ignorance and religion being the main catalysts. The US has plenty of both.
There are bigots in my country too, but they are more oppressed because here, hate is not considered free speech and culturally, most people will ostracize you if you express divisive opinions.
On the internet they are rampant, because of the amplification effect and perceived anonymity.
In real life I have never seen someone care. Some people avoid it because RL has consequences, but most just don’t care about other people’s sexuality. I don’t live in the US tho.

As a non autistic person, we too are thought to fit in since childhood and do learn to wear social masks. It’s not something exclusive to autistic people, but I guess you guys have a harder time learning to do it.
Moderate your behavior in public and respect other people is a conscious effort until it becomes “natural”.
Just remember respect is a two way street, and everybody usually is trying to play their role.

You wrote Starfield wrong.

Begone, Bot!

If you need to use Windows, this is the chance to buy a lifetime license to Windows 11 for cheap, before it disappears…

Is there any explanation in the manga as why the demons dissolve when you kill them?
It’s seen as the one species in this world that does that and makes me think they are not part of the environment, like they are an invasive force.

As far as I know, white blood cells move independently, crawling like amoebas or “millipedes” along vessel walls to reach infection sites. They use special adhesive “legs” to move at high speeds, even swimming in liquid using molecular “paddles”. WBCs actively exit blood vessels, following chemical signals to damaged tissue.

@Mickey7@lemmy.world Looks like phishing, be careful

Where I live there are spots in the parking lot to leave the shopping cart in order to minimize on foot traffic. It’s better to be safe than virtue signaling.

Yeah, peripheral is better to detect subtle movement in low contrast areas.
What I don’t get is why deny the execution of a command because the lack of sudo instead of just notice that it needs elevated privilege and ask for password
Sociopathic narcissist people bubble to the top.
