Here’s the thing: it wasn’t funny. Especially as it’s based on false information. It was cringy at best.
Maybe you should relax a bit. The information provided by SoleInvictus was interesting and set things straight. If you post something on social media, be prepared for getting responses. That’s how this platform works.
No one ever uses fortnightly though. I have a hard time even remembering what it means as it’s never used.
There used to be plenty of music stores where you could listen to the music before you bought it. They all died because of Spotify. Good job supporting an industry that killed physical media, pushes AI “music” to the masses and enables Nazi podcasters. Nice fucking Job.
Also, Go to Bandcamp. You can listen to all the music there. Then you can decide to buy the music and in return you get to download the FLAC files. Most artists even let you decide how much you want to pay. You come off as someone who’s never taken a step out into the world and just gobbles everything up that is spoonfed to you.
And before Spotify, artists were able to make more money with physical media, that the customers owned for life. Spotify essentially made the situation worse for both the artist and the consumer.

They’re actually doing pretty well and it sickens me.

I liked broccoli as a kid. Still do. My 10yo daughter loves broccoli and despises McDonald’s.

SUVs are small, lifted cars with a ridiculous amount of padding. They are such useless vehicles. Truly one of the dumbest things to hit the automobile market. I can’t take people seriously in these things.

I cobbled together a bunch of second hand stuff from eBay. An i5-12500T is at the heart of it for hardware accelerated encoding, 32 GB ram, an HBA controller for the 4 SAS drives (2x 11 TB and 2x 8 TB). Stuffed all that into an old atx case with an old PSU. Added a tiny touchscreen display for troubleshooting.
I’m pretty happy with this setup. I’m using Unraid and I’m running an arr stack, downloads are done via usenet. Also running jellyfin, Navidrome, Komga, Immich and Adguard.
Im still looking for a good Filesharing service that’s easy to configure and allows user registration.
I’m fairly new to all this. So it’s an exciting journey!

No, people take things slowly when they’re on vacation, which doesn’t harmonize with the day to day life of someone who loves there. Doesn’t mean they’re stupid. Stupid would be, when they would adapt the hectic lives of the locals because what a shit vacation would that be?
Look, I’ve lived in Amsterdam for 11 years. Yes, it’s annoying that tourists block the bicycle lanes, but there’s a lot to take in when you’ve never been there before and it’s just something you have to deal with when you’re living in a tourist area. There’s a lot of psychos that would simply ride their bikes into those people. Fuck them, they need to learn to relax.
This sort of exists in Germany. Any modifications must undergo an inspection at the TÜV. If it’s deemed unsafe, you have to get rid of the modification.
This may sound good, but Germany is one of the worst countries in the world regarding bureaucracy, only surpassed by Japan I believe. These things don’t make life any easier.

The workflow to set up some basic calculations with ranges formatted as tables is just much quicker. I believe that’s why Excel keeps winning unfortunately. I just tried doing some basic things in LibreCalc and it was very cumbersome unfortunately. At home I don’t mind this, but at work I’d be pissed if I’d lose that functionality. It would seriously hold me back.

A table in Excel will have a name that can be referenced. It will also automatically grow larger when you type in the row under the last row. You can have multiple tables within a sheet. It comes with extensive filters. In LibreCalc you can only set filters but everything else remains static. It’s literally the most used thing in Excel.

The fact that you can’t make real tables renders the software completely unusable. Tables are used in pretty much every spreadsheet.

I’m fairly often in Japan for work. They won’t touch those screens.
