5·2 days agoI’ve been sort of a bleeding-edge (ie very new) music enjoyer. Most artists release music to streaming services on Thursdays at midnight, because midnight is Friday and Friday is the start of the weekend when people get off work.
On Thursday night, I look at the link below to see a list of new albums which were released and then I search for them on youtube music. I just try out different new albums. You can also click the month button to see the most popular albums of each month.

My dream service would be one that could recommend music based on a given song, and provide details about the artist and things. And even better version would have an API I could tap into so I could connect the service to music assistant. Hell I’ll make a (mostly) locally hosted version of the spotify dj if I can.
You’re pretty much describing ‘last.fm’? It tracks the music you listen to in a similar way to spotify. You can install the plugin in your media player and then the website records the names of the files you play and recommends you similar music. Some people says that it’s an invasion of privacy and there’s an alternative site called ‘librefm’.

Trump knows that he’s unpopular and he’s old as fuck, so he’s naming certain acceptable “enemies” that he will cede power to. Israel is unpopular. War is unpopular. Democrats are refusing to take any position against Israel or endless wars. So now these populist fascists can take the reigns.

Drop Site News reported yesterday that all publicly known summaries of the 10-point plan are unofficial. The official document has not been made public. The summary version reported by PressTV and other Iranian outlets suchs as IRIB represents information provided by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

Just now reported. Iran’s Parliament Speaker MB Ghalibaf says that the US/Israel have violated 3 out of the 10 points of the 10-point plan, which makes it now unreasonable to continue the ceasefire or negotiations.

Do you believe that the US is a paper tiger or not? The reason that the US would quietly concede to Iran’s demands is that it does not have the power that it presents. If you believe that the US is made from paper, then that is the reason. If you believe that the US is not losing this war, then you don’t believe it is made from paper.
Iran has demonstrated that it controls the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has demonstrated proportional attacks in the region to US assets and Israel. Iran presented a list of demands and they believe that US has agreed to the demands.
It was a mistake for Iran to agree to end the 12-day war last year. I don’t think Iran wants to make that same mistake again. The press statement says that the war will only be over when the 10 points are implemented. If the US violates the agreement, I think Iran will punish the US and Israel.

Will US try to weasel out of the agreement? Certainly. Will Iran allow the US to weasel out of the agreement? I do not know. Why does Iran have the upper hand? US can leave the region but Iran will keep attacking Israel.

We in the west have troubles of our own and have never known the terror of living under the rule of a paranoid authoritarian regime.
There is an expression that goes like “You can’t fool me, I wasn’t born yesterday”. When people say things like this, I think they are actually born yesterday.
You cannot name a period in US history when the US was not a “paranoid authoritarian regime”. From the start, the US regime stole land from the indigenous people and genocided the indigenous people. The US regime had an economy based on slave trade and slave plantations. There was the Jim Crow Era, Red Scare 1, Red Scare 2, Internment of Japanese, Cold War Era, dozens of coups around the world.
The FBI assassinated leaders of the civil rights movement in the 1960s. There is too many things to name. The US Regime has bombed like 10 different countries in the past year.
The terror that Iranians are currently experiencing is not from their own government, it is terror inflicted by the West. If I were to travel to Iran, I would be killed by Israel or the US, not by Iranians.
Paranoia is an illness where people feel anxiety, suspicion, or fear based on irrational reasons or delusions. The anxiety that Iranians have is not irrational. The fears that Iranians have are based on the long history of aggression from the west and colonizers. Iranians do not have paranoia.

The US regime does not respect immigrants, especially not from Iran. The US sometimes gives immigration status to people collaborate with US militancy or espionage. These diaspora would face consequences because they aided crimes by western nations.
