Douglas Road construction expected to last into October

The project to widen and improve Douglas Road should be wrapping up in less than a month.

The multi-phase project is expected to come to an end in about three weeks.

The project has caused traffic headaches, especially at the State Road 23 and Douglas Road intersection.

The construction was delayed due to a gas line.

Drivers are excited for the benefits of the project which should alleviate traffic backups. But there's no denying, this construction has been frustrating.
