Fun fact: astronauts have to spend a night in the wilderness under a full moon before they’re allowed on the ship for this exact reason
that’s one neat shittyfact
In 1972, an astronaut on a moonwalking mission found out he was allergic to the moon.
It sounds like he had congestion and got over it very quickly. He said he didn’t notice anything on his fourth exposure.
You should read Of Monsters and Mainframes
Thanks for this recommendation. I’m now buying that book!
They might be the last on the ship to find out
Tell his fellow astronauts about it…!
That’s a common mandela effect, everyone seems to remember multiple astronauts in the capsule at launch. There was definitely only one, and the capsule was always painted red on the inside. Definitely. Anyone claiming otherwise is clearly a lunatic, and will dealt with accordingly.
I think you meant ‘Mandala effect’, where your brain draws weird patterns from false memories

Congratulations, even with the /j at the end you got me. I had to go and look it up, just to be sure!
they had to have someone on camera crew standing in for kubrick. he wasn’t about to fly to location.
John Jameson gotta watch out…
