I’ll say it again. We had a deal that Trump pulled us out of. It’s almost as bad as killing off a vulnerable part of the population to save a couple bucks on a pandemic response team.
Definitely had better relations with Iran under Obama.
However, Obama was bombing seven countries (that we know of) in 2016 and the media reported that the US had dropped 20,000 tons of bombs just in that last year of his presidency. (Again, that we know of.) Obama is the only president, that we know of, who bombed American citizens.
Pretending Donald and Obama weren’t cut from the same cloth doesn’t really make sense. Obama loved bloodying his hands too.
I don’t think I could ever view Obama and Trump as being similar just in the same way I could never view Pope Benedict and Pope Francis as similar. Too many differences to set them apart.
