If the UK actually tried reach net zero instead of waiting for it to fall into our laps, we could have it done easily

We can also reach net zero by 2030 (which would be scientifically necessary). But we need to take the steps.

3 more decades is too long of a wait. I hate these targets that are like "In decades we will reach the target we should have reached a decade ago."
