It can be better but you have to know the person has the window space and is enthusiastic about caring for it long-term. Otherwise you can be giving chores to them. The short time-span of cut flowers is a feature, not a bug.


Roses are ok, sunflowers and gerberas are of.


A tree is good, but nowhere near as good as a stick.


Most of them don’t get murdered in the process, the flowers are not the vital parts.


Cut roses can often be successfully plated.


Revolitionary single mutations do occure sometimes and can mean speciation, so in some cases, there can be one individual that is the true first of the new species.


In this case someone’s own brother.


Read it as dual welding and was quite impressed by the concept.



It’s enough of a half for a cowboy-hat guy.


They won’t shun Israel though. The soft power is super strong with that one.


Sometimes your best is just lying in your bed.



The nice thing about science is that it can reevaluate studies, correct mistakes, make new discoveries… Science-based medicine is not and will never be perfect, but has the potential to get better and better. Methods not proven by science to be beneficial are not trustworthy, and it doesn’t matter whether they’re viewed as part of mainstream or alternative medicine.


Chiropractors still use the ghost-taught tricks. Doctors moved on to use scientifically proven practices. They are not the same.


Perhaps it would be better to try to compare European and US knowledge of Africa - that’s neutral ground.


Europeans do learn the location of the states at school though. It might not stick with everyone, but we are expected to know it.



But we do know the states, right? I remember my highschool friend not being alowed to go to a party unless she told her dad which states were neighbors of Burundi.
