@electronicmusic @psychedelicmusic @experimentalmusic I know I picked up like a dozen followers this past week... If you're one of those, go have a listen! Getting the word out about my music is the main reason I'm here.
@neverbeaten @synth @synths nailed it
And hey, you can ALSO listen on Ampwall and those sales definitely count toward my total! (Actually, they're even better because Ampwall is currently offering a MUCH better deal than Bandcamp)

Just listen! That's all I'm asking.
Meanwhile, Ampwall fans call it "a twisting web of undulating, pulsing, living sounds, kept moving by infectious beats and grooves" and "Glitchy & grindy ... tripped-out & ambient ... always shifting & churning & full of crunchy, spacey electronic groove"

@solarbranka @psychedelicmusic @electronicmusic @experimentalmusic thank you for checking it out! 🙏🖤🖤🖤
@TheFreshBeets @synth @synths Working on it!
My host is very cheap 😅 and I am a shared plan, so probably means someone else's website is getting some serious traffic. If I can get my writing to a level where it's not a major money loser, I intend to upgrade but may be a while off. Appreciate your patience in the meantime.
And I really WILL get to that FM page!
Finally, if you want a hands-on example/walk-thru of those principles and techniques explained in text, photographic and video form, you can check out this blog post I did for a related project, which details building a basic subtractive patch in modular.
Curiously, neither Ampwall review calls it "weird" but it is called "otherworldlly" and "tripped-out" which are more or less fancy ways of saying weird, right?
@glass @synths @synth Until last year, I was hardware only across the board-- no DAW, no VSTs, only used a computer to distribute, but record/produce.
I do have the opsix vst, but I still prefer programming the hardware version. Much easier for whatever reason. I haven't spent much time with the vst, tho, so my opinion may change when I do.
@Jorsh @psychedelicmusic @electronicmusic @experimentalmusic You left the first review, if I am not mistaken! Thanks so much!
@DigitalDruid @psychedelicmusic @experimentalmusic @electronicmusic Fucking A, it is! That's a fantastic endorsement, friend! Thank you for listening and thanks for the kind words.
@botvolution @synth @synths Well now I gotta ask...which two?
@SamanthaJaneSmith @synth @synths It was good enough to keep, but I am not a "own 20 synths" guy. I want one great synth in each category, and "digital hardware poly" turned out to be a wildly competitive category!
@manmachine @synth @synths yeah that was my big insight for sure!
@zaxusemk @psychedelicmusic @electronicmusic @experimentalmusic No...
*THIS* album is great for sleep, tho! Put it on a loop, it'll treat you right:
After a long period of stability (last module added ~2 years ago), I think it's time to upgrade my # modular setup
After a long period of stability (last module added ~2 years ago), I think it's time to upgrade my #modular setup. The plan is to swap out the excellent workhorse Klavis Twin Waves oscillator with a Noise Engineering Alia platform voice. That part I'm like 95% on.
Thanks again to everyone who helped me get to 500 streams last month so I could give away a bunch of free DL codes!

Get poppy (and a little weird) with this week's Other People's Music
Get poppy (and a little weird) with this week's Other People's Music. 3 cool, varied strains of pop headline this one - indie pop covers of some classic & obscure tunes, folk pop psych, and a synth pop buffet of dreams.

A really nice variety of electronic music in this Other People's Music!
A really nice variety of electronic music in this Other People's Music! A minimalist hybrid of kosmische and dungeon synth, a vibrant ambient/drone/field recording album, & a really cool genre agnostic album of synth tunes. (+some metal)
Sitting right at 420 streams in August this afternoon (nice) so our goal of 500 is RIGHT THERE
