Wait till they read James 5:1-6
I do wonder this the Serpent’s Hand tend to be the “nicest” GOI if you’re an anomaly. If I have my lore right the Hand wants the public to know about the anomalous world. 2 things are the Hand using these anomalies to get their message out there (the Foundation claims they’ve used them in raids) and how in the world have they not caused a breach of the veil. They’ve leaked a number of SCP files and have access to the wonders library which has plenty of evidence they could leak.

Some range from “friendly” to they probably won’t kill me for fun
Come check out https://lemmy.world/c/althistory if stuff like that interest you. Somehow that event which very nearly happened is pretty tame compared to other scenarios
The Broken Masquerade cannon is one of my favorite cannons.
Dr. Clef on Oprah and a Thought provoking tale a lot of good in this one
I know the lore of all these I just found it fitting
That’s the most likely explanation I needed a sanity check to make sure YouTube didn’t pull a YouTube and nuke it just because they felt like it
I mean how many companies have acronyms that spell out SCP? There’s dozens of shell companies and secret sites hiding in plain site.

Happy Easter!
I hope everyone has a good Easter this year here’s a piece of scripture for the day
Palm Sunday
For Western folks at least today is Palm Sunday and the first day of Holy Week. I hope everyone has a good week and a good Easter next week
I’ve seen theories that this proposal is the writers making more SCPs
What do you think the real SCP-001 is?
I know this is kind of a pointless question because of how 001 is supposed to work in the lore and on the site. They could all be real, or none of them could be. But I’d like to know if you had to say which one was the “real” one, what would it be? I’ll start. I don’t think the gate guardian is the real one. It’s mentioned in other 001 articles, and while you could apply Occam’s razor I say I’m applying Hickam’s dictum. I think there’s a good reason they’re hiding whatever it is 001 is. So what do you all think?

The anomalies gotta come from somewhere
Saint Valentine (en.wikipedia.org)
I knew about everyone’s favorite Saint Nicholas but I wasn’t aware about Saint Valentine. I hope everyone has a good Valentine’s Day next week!

“ Peter requested that his cross be upside down, as he felt unworthy to die in the same manner Jesus had.”

Saint Nicholas (en.wikipedia.org)
For those who don’t know yes there really was a Saint Nicholas. The patron saint of “sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, brewers, pawnbrokers, unmarried people, and students in various cities and countries around Europe” and most importantly toymakers.
