Eh, there definitely is a resemblance but the details aren’t quite the same: https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_fullsize/plain/did:plc:cexoqsdnukfflq6jhculm23i/bafkreiamqpmivablffphia4osiivjsds6xoscqi4adfdgopyh4dbwm3o5u@jpeg
Got to focus on the bigger issue of politicians taking big donor bucks to support Israel rather than the names of the particular vehicles for that money.
Supporting Israel was never really popular in the sense of being something that the Democratic base was clamoring for, but now it’s become so unpopular that it’s something candidates feel the need to hide or run away from.
Ugh I know. I don’t understand how generally classy magazine like the Nation lets its mobile viewing experience turn into such garbage.
This guy Fuchs
What's weird about it? Seems accurate to me in that he's an anti-establishment candidate running on being on the side of the people against the elites.
RFK is personally invested in companies that make money suing vaccine manufacturers so he has a major financial incentive.
He'd be such a great contender, and not only for watching those people literally explode, but of course is disqualified based on being a naturalized citizen.
It's like how people say "Musk giving a Nazi salute doesn't necessarily mean he's a Nazi" when he also actively praises and agrees with Nazis.
It's not so much that pedos are natural born conservatives as it is that MAGA style conservatism is the political expression of pedophilia. It's sort of like how conservatism is the political expression of billionaire oligarch interests - there are some liberal billionaires but not as many because the conservative side is the one structured around pursuing the class interests of billionaires.
It does drive me crazy how people butcher that expression.
Mark Twain was a gold mine of using wordplay to say politicians are full of shit.
I also love "Imagine you are a congressman. And imagine you are an idiot - but I repeat myself"
That's an easy way to end up dying by suicide
You got an F in grammar at school huh?
Basically they did it because they are willing participants in right wing ratfucking of progressives.
No that is not the entire article. Yes it asks for your email not for payment.
I think it's more that the owner is an oligarch than it is the readers wanting this stuff. The Times readership likes Mamdani a lot more than the paper does.
It doesn't have a paywall of any variety
Have a little faith, he's the heavy favorite. The city's unions and politicians are in the process of rallying around him, while his opponents are all jokes who likely won't get as many votes combined as Zohran.
What do you mean? The hard part is behind us, Zohran is now the heavy favorite in the general election.
This isn't really a reasoning thing, you are just repeating some common lies.
