Working parent here! I’m a little afraid to admit my social life could best be described as “social distancing” - so your aren’t alone out there or on here. I’ve had periods of my life that were less social than others. During one of those in my 20s, I would get really stoned and go " urban hiking” or “big house watching.” It killed a lot of time and was relatively healthy. Hope you find your niche!

As someone who was diagnosed at 43, I relate so much to this comment. Most things, buttered toast included, aren’t worth the weeks of pain. Although, I have seriously considered a Dick’s Deluxe burger on a couple of occasions.

NewsSo I work with public utilities / co-ops (different from private utilities). One of the challenges I consistently see is the utilities are handed a bunch of regulations without the funding to adequately support them. This strikes me as similar. Lineman safety is a real concern. I suspect it could be mitigated, but those mitigations probably come with a cost. The easiest fix is to fund lineman safety measures in the bill.

I watched a few clips. Her behavior in the hearing was abhorrent. And her overall job performance is shameful. I wish she’d slither back into whatever hole she came from.
