Working parent here! I’m a little afraid to admit my social life could best be described as “social distancing” - so your aren’t alone out there or on here. I’ve had periods of my life that were less social than others. During one of those in my 20s, I would get really stoned and go " urban hiking” or “big house watching.” It killed a lot of time and was relatively healthy. Hope you find your niche!

As someone who was diagnosed at 43, I relate so much to this comment. Most things, buttered toast included, aren’t worth the weeks of pain. Although, I have seriously considered a Dick’s Deluxe burger on a couple of occasions.

There’s only like 5 of those in this area (Seattle). The rest are Cyber trucks.

To be fair, adulting is exhausting.

Yes! Same with cholesterol or blood pressure medications. If you need them, you should use them…

So I work with public utilities / co-ops (different from private utilities). One of the challenges I consistently see is the utilities are handed a bunch of regulations without the funding to adequately support them. This strikes me as similar. Lineman safety is a real concern. I suspect it could be mitigated, but those mitigations probably come with a cost. The easiest fix is to fund lineman safety measures in the bill.

What the hell did I just watch? Are my tax dollars going to this? JFC.

I’m like 97% sure that this sport started on a dare.

Not yet, but I’m gonna try it now!

Oh yeah, it is a bit of a nightmare. We fry outside.

I watched a few clips. Her behavior in the hearing was abhorrent. And her overall job performance is shameful. I wish she’d slither back into whatever hole she came from.

Deep fryer owner here. Nothing I’ve fried has been made worse by the deep fryer - and most things are substantially better. I do not regret the purchase.
