It won't be a better world if there's no private property or freedom of speech or freedom to breed or freedom of thought.

The instant these freedoms are forfeited, the world becomes worse.




Banks are not typically replacing Swift, they are using Swift with a blockchain validator.


There are a number of banks working on this. Not just testing but in production, now.





Because 1) blockchain is far more secure than the older methods of xfer, 2) blockchain is faster than the current methods, and 3) blockchain is cheaper than the current methods.

I work with a few banks who are actively using this already and others who are developing the technology. Not sure where you get your information, but I can tell you first hand that banks and credit card company absolutely are using crypto right now.


Someone is a luddite. Crypto is now used by banks and credit card companies for xfer.


The cars themselves are great. You've bought into conservative propaganda that lingers. The real problem is Musk.


Simplistic was basically the original proposal for a planet before it was highjacked on the last day of the convention by a bunch of scientists with an axe to grind.



It's really too bad that Mapquest still looks like it's from the 90s



To your second point, I think you're somewhat right about that. However it's a weird mix of traditional Republican values and this new Nationalism. Republicans were traditionally for a small federal government (except military of course)


That Trump is neither conservative (in any way) nor cares at all about any traditional Republican values


Oldies is 1940s and 50s only.

Everything else actually has distinct genres that are well defined.
