He’s worried that his son could have been in danger, while he gives no fucks about the hundreds of children who will be harmed.

Unpopular OpinionHa! I usually use Voyager, so I ignore votes. A few weeks ago I logged into lemmyworld and noticed a weird downvote pattern. A wild mod had gone into some sort of Agrajag fit and booted me from all their ghost instances, citing self-promotion. It was both confusing and hilarious!

I’ve never understood the animosity toward coyotes. Humans move into their territory, fuck it up, then get angry that the coyotes are adapting?
When I was living in the mountains near BC, I knew that I was the intruder in a land that belonged to all the wildlife. The coyotes made me laugh when they ate low-hanging cherries from the trees, and they kept a natural balance in the environment.

US has been doing this for at least ten years. My 2006 passport allowed a smile, but my 2016 renewal photo was rejected because I was smiling. I had to submit a resting bitch face.
politicsI don’t know how your military works, but in the US military, most people aren’t trained to kill. The majority are trained to sling wrenches, manage accounts, monitor software programs, prepare meals, and conduct necessary supply and maintenance duties.
Despite the fact that they aren’t out killing people, many still experience profound trauma that permanently alters the course of their lives. The suicide rate for veterans is staggering; additionally, tens of thousands of vets slow-suicide, which often results in periods of alienation and homelessness. This “resolution” is about the vets who don’t have the decency to crawl into a dark corner and die quickly.
Out of 245 million eligible US voters:
75 million voted for Harris.
77 million voted for the con.
93 million couldn’t be bothered, or had their feelings manipulated by the sudden flurry of accusations that Harris must be a Zionist because that wasn’t ingenious propaganda.
I’m still more angry at the 93 million slugs than I am about the bigots, and that’s got nothing to do with fucking blowback.

What I learned in italian is a gesture - maintain eye contact while giving two light taps to your balls. Or in my case, lady balls, which people find either wildly hilarious or deeply infuriating.
So if someone had snagged a photo of one of the murderers who lives in Texas, would they be banned for posting it?
