I installed a fresh windows and put my data on a separate drive and now it tells me the thing is "raw" and and can't be accessed xD Now I'm tryna run recovery because no way in hell did I just lose every game project I ever worked on xD

So... Apparently you can change a characters equipment without adding said equipment to the inventory.... Why the heck was I 200% sure you had to add it first?

Still experimenting - but I think my block mechanic is just about done. It's not fancy and probably coded like spaghetti - but I'm doing this to learn as much as make a game. It uses a Atk vs Def or Mag vs Mdf for physical/magical attacks check - and negates the action if it passes (though I'm considering just a 50% reduction). The defense stat has to be much higher for consistent blocking so it's not super annoying as long as you aren't having your mages try to punch tanks.
