Reference tutorials on conda, git, github from contributor's guide

The current contributor's guide contains a lot of basic tutorial information on how to use conda, git, github, etc. Once suitable tutorials are in place on the Foundations site the current contributors guide can be shortened and simply reference the tutorial material.
