What

Following the method which was used to collect examples of feedback link components in other design systems, follow a similar process to explore where other design systems have created patterns for data consent or sharing, applicable to the following user needs:

As an end-user, I need to know where pre-populated data in a service comes from, so I have trust in the service

As an end-user, I need to know if my data will be shared with other government services, so I know to expect pre-populated data in future

As an end-user, I need to know how to update incorrect information which has been pre-populated, so I can complete the service correctly.

You can conduct research in this list of other government design systems, as well as private sector design systems.

Why

Ahead of work in Q1 to publish data consent / sharing patterns, this exercise will give us ideas to work from.
