Flashloan Project

Overview

The Flashloan project is a demonstration of a flash loan implementation in the Ethereum blockchain. Flash loans are a type of uncollateralized loan option in DeFi (Decentralized Finance), primarily used for arbitrage, collateral swapping, self-liquidation, and more.

Key Features

  • Flash Loan Execution: Implements the mechanism of borrowing and repaying loans within a single transaction.
  • Arbitrage Opportunities: Explores potential for profit-making through price differences in various DeFi platforms.
  • Smart Contract Interaction: Demonstrates interaction with different DeFi protocols and smart contracts.

Contracts

  • FlashLoanExample.sol: Main contract demonstrating the flash loan mechanism.
  • FlashLoanSwapTest.sol: Contract for testing flash loan-based swaps.

Scripts

  • FlashLoanExampleScript.js: Script to execute the flash loan example.
  • FlashLoanExampleTest.js: Test script for the flash loan example.
  • FlashLoanInputTokens.js: Script for inputting tokens into the flash loan process.
  • FlashLoanPractice.js: Practice script for understanding flash loan mechanics.
  • deployFlashLoanTest.js: Deployment script for the flash loan test contract.

Tests

  • FlashLoanSwapTest.js: Test suite for the FlashLoanSwapTest contract.

Getting Started

To get started with this project, clone the repository and install the necessary dependencies. Ensure you have a working knowledge of Solidity, smart contracts, and the Ethereum blockchain.

Prerequisites

  • Node.js and npm
  • Truffle Suite
  • Ganache (for local blockchain simulation)
  • MetaMask (or any Ethereum wallet for interacting with the blockchain)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository.
  2. Install dependencies: npm install.
  3. Compile the contracts: truffle compile.
  4. Deploy the contracts on a test network: truffle migrate --network <network_name>.

Usage

After deploying the contracts, you can interact with them using the provided scripts or through a web interface if you set one up.

Contributing
