Shouldn't there be corresponding changes in [simd.syn]?

The subclause name changes all look good to me.

Yes, but [simd.syn] is being rearranged anyway, right? See cplusplus/nbballot#856

Alright, the synopsis changes should be done in a separate PR then. The changes here look god.

Thanks! This is definitely in line with our usual style, and we can/should explain that in any NB comment response that was asking for something else.
