DiscordBot Package

DiscordBot

  • Domain: DiscordBot
  • Credentials: clientId, clientSecret, accessToken

How to get credentials:

  1. Go to Discord website
  2. Log in or create a new account
  3. Register an app
  4. After creation your app you will see Client ID and Client Secret
  5. "Create A Bot User" for your application and provide this bot proper privileges
  6. Get Bot access token from you Application page

DiscordBot.getAccessToken

Get access token

Field Type Description
clientId credentials Client Id obtained from Discord
clientSecret credentials Client secret obtained from Discord
code String Code provided by the user
redirectUri String Redirect uri for your application

Returns the bot's OAuth2 application info.

DiscordBot.getSingleChannel

Guild channels represent an isolated set of users and messages within a Guild.

DiscordBot.updateChannel

Update a channels settings.

Edit the channel permission overwrites for a user in a channel.
