Description
Introduction
Our team is launching a mapping initiative to enhance the quality of road data in India and Indonesia. Our goals include:
- Correcting and improving road names for accuracy.
- Fixing geometry issues.
- Creating new roads based on osm imagery
Types of Activity
We focus on the following features:
- Adding missing roads
- Changing road connectivity/geometry
- Adding and improving street names
- Improving other objects affecting road geometry
Workflow

Maproulette: We have some database of features that potentially have problems (dragged node, spam name & etc.), we plan to upload these features to Maproulette and fix them there.

Visual Assessment: We will visually inspect the road data coverage in Bengaluru and Jakarta, adding any missing roads, based on OSM imagery.

All edits made by our team in this project have the hashtag #mapbox_roads
Editing Team
All members of the team went through the onboarding process before starting editing on OpenStreetMap and are familiar with the principles of editing.
New editors are guided to OSM training resources like the OSM Wiki and iD editor's Help panel.
